ABID Conference - A Learning Sphere For Importers & Distributors

28/02/2020 Registrations for the 2020 ABID Conference are now open. Join industry leaders at the conference, and network with other importers & distributors.

Importers & distributors are a vital part of the supply chain. While larger importers & distributors have found platforms for themselves, the industry lacks one for small and medium sized importers & distributors. That is where the ABID Conference steps in.

Small and medium sized importers & distributors tend to face a plethora of challenges while setting up their business, and in turn striving for growth.  After the successful first two years, the Alcohol Beverage Importers & Distributors (ABID) Conference is back for its third year.

Organized by Beverage Trade Network, the organizers of the USA Trade Tasting, the ABID Conference is set to be the ultimate learning and networking sphere for importers and distributors.

As a small/medium sized importer & distributor, the ABID Conference is the perfect platform for you to get in touch with day to day issues, be presented with solutions, and built a growth platform for your business.

What is the ABID Conference?

The ABID is a two-day event that discusses day to day challenges and gives importers & distributors to network with fellow importers and distributors from all over the country, find new ways to grow and collectively address issues facing the industry.

The Alcohol Beverage Importers & Distributors Conference has been designed specifically to serve the needs of small and medium-sized wine, beer and liquor importers and distributors of the USA.

Continued consolidation in the US distribution sector presents an issue for the wine, beer and spirits wholesalers in the country. It has become increasingly difficult for small and medium distributors and importers to gain traction in the market as larger distributors either buy out smaller ones or figure out ways to create mini divisions to compete with and win over retail shelves. There is additional pressure from online retailers like Amazon and direct-to-consumer online platforms and apps which are constantly watching every regulatory move and how they can capitalize on these.

Taking place in New York City on May 26-27, 2020, the ABID consists of talks by industry leaders with real insights and solutions on problems that importers & distributors face on a day to day basis. Insights and solutions given by the speakers are real life solutions that importers & distributors can apply in their business to move a step ahead and achieve profitable growth.
