A medical doctor by training, Patrick has been very interested in the world of wine since moving to California three decades ago. He’s a certified wine educator and master of wine, having passed the latter in 1998. Patrick has travelled the world of wine extensively and remains active in the Institute of Masters of Wine educational program. He’s judged many wine competitions during the past 20 years. Patrick has written articles and book chapters regarding various aspects of wine and has been a consultant and a founder of a beverage accessory compay.
